Project objective: To produce a temperature sensor to contact with a rubber compound

Problem: Mechanical damage and wear of the working surface of temperature sensors in contact with the rubber compound. Contamination of the rubber compound when the sensor is broken. Equipment downtime due to frequent repairs and therefore financial losses

Solution: Using the ТПС 311 resistance temperature detector and the ТЖК 306 temperature sensor

Outcome: Over 10 different designs and manufacturing techniques were tested to ensure the sensors achieved stable readings and minimal thermal inertia, which resulted in a high-quality rubber compound. The service life of the devices has also increased by 12 times due to the use of high hardness and wear-resistant materials
